It's no surprise that I'm a huge fan of online shopping. As a city dweller, I'm all too happy to trade in the madness of visiting my closest shopping mall in favor of browsing shops and sales from the comfort of my own home - usually in pajamas and with a gin and tonic in-hand, let's be real. It's gotten to the point that, with all of my online shopping packages being delivered to my building I think that my doorman suspects that I have a problem. Well, maybe I am guilty of a retail addiction, but recently I was turned onto Ebates Canada, and it's completely revolutionized my online shopping experience. Between the cash back that you stand to earn on your shopping purchases, coupon codes and increased reward promotions, I'm hooked!

Shoes - Badgley Mischka
I have a few holiday parties coming up in December, so I've been scouring the internet for some cute but affordable outfits. When I checked out Ebates, I was happy to see that every single store that I had been eyeing items from was eligible for cash back! Forever 21 is a favourite store of mine when purchasing fun, season-specific clothing and with a 4% cash back it makes it even more cost effective. I had also been eyeing this glittery Rebecca Minkoff Leo clutch for some time, but hesitated on purchasing it since it seemed like a fairly indulgent purchase. I finally made the plunge on the clutch when I saw that Shop Bop was eligible for 6% cash back - and definitely no regrets, the glittery clutch has become a staple in my night time outfit rotation!
The fact of the matter is that online shopping is definitely a welcome change when dealing with the madness of the malls on holidays, at least for me anyways. I'm happy to participate in anything that lightens the financial load, and with the cashback and coupons that Ebates provides it definitely fits the bill. Now I don't feel quite so guilty when confronted with the judgmental looks of my doorman.
What do you guys think? Do you like this sparkly holiday look, or do you prefer something more subdued? Have you heard of Ebates before? If not, I definitely recommend that you check them out!
