During the holidays, the majority of the people on my holiday gift list are men. Coming from a family with my dad, two brothers and a husband, I definitely am no stranger to shopping for men for Christmas gifts - but man, are these guys are hard to buy for!
Thankfully I was able to get my entire Christmas list done in one shot on my recent trip to Upper Canada. Armed with a few ideas and my knowledge of how to shop for my family of mostly guys for the holidays, I hit the ground running and found some great gifts.
Here's what I picked up for the men in my life at Upper Canada, why I chose them as gifts, and a few tips and tricks when buying holiday presents for guys.
- I'm a big fan of getting my brothers and husband fun candies and treats to accompany their main gifts. These cute gummies from Squish are not only delish, but they're a special treat since the candy is crafted with high-quality ingredients. It's also nice that the company is Canadian and was founded in Montreal. There's also a ton of different gummies to choose from, and picking out one that totally suits each of my brothers and husband is part of the fun!
- Since I don't have a huge handle on men's fashion, I stick to the basics when gifting clothing for the holidays. You can never go wrong with a comfy pair of sweatpants, and Roots always has the best ones. You can even think outside of the box - last year I got one of my brothers a Roots onesie, and he swears that it's the most comfortable thing around!
- Whoever said that men don't enjoy a good pamper session hasn't met the men in my life. I always head to Lush to pick up from indulgent, natural products for my bath-loving bros. The bath bombs are always a hit, and are a really fun addition to any gift.
- Although they deny it, nobody gets hit with a winter colds harder than men. I love gifting products from Saje Wellness to keep my dad, brothers and husband healthy the natural way all winter long. Well, to be honest - this gift is mostly for me; anything to avoid having to deal with the dreaded 'man cold.'
And just like that my list was completed, and I even had time for a celebratory glass of wine at Arthurs Landing. If you're looking for a place for all of your holiday essentials, and to find gifts for everyone on your list, then definitely head to Upper Canada. Happy Shopping!
