OOTD - Peach Off The Shoulder Dress

The off-the-shoulder trend is huge going into Spring, and I've been reluctant to hop on board.  This is typical behaviour for me: I like to sit back and watch how a trend evolves before diving in myself. Leave it to a good sale to change my ming though; when I saw this peach off-the-shoulder dress on Shopbop during their friends and family sale, I had to have it! I absolutely love the delicate pattern of the dress, both subtle horizontal lines and little flowers. The tie sleeves are a great detail, and I love the retro vibe that the off-the-shoulder neckline gives off.  Paired with my favourite saddle bag and a pair of block heels, this outfit is the perfect retro throwback. Off-the-shoulder, I like you.  I like you a lot.

Dress - WAYF, Bag - Chloe Drew (mini in Cement Pink)
Shoes - c/o Le Chateau

I'm thrilled to announce that I've signed on with Le Chateau as one of their monthly shoe ambassadors.  Each month I get to show you an incredible pair of shoes of my selection - exciting!  This month was an easy choice - I needed these Italian-made suede block heel sandals. The natural suede is the perfect colour, and makes your legs look incredibly long - perfect for us petite ladies! I also am loving the block heel, another huge trend for Spring and going into Summer.  The heel gives a retro vibe and because it's much thicker than your typical pump it makes the sandals so comfortable.

What do you guys think?  Are you into the off-the-shoulder trend?  Have you added any pieces to your wardrobe yet?  Are you as easily influenced by a sale as I am? Let me know!

  5. I had that dress on my wishlist too. It looks gorgeous on you! I didn't end up buying it because I don't own a strapless bra that fits...so off-the-shoulder isn't happening just yet.

Also, congratulations of being a shoe ambassador. The pair you chose are so cute and look fab with the dress.
