OOTD - Winter Basics and Spring Neutrals

Happy March Noobs! All throughout February, all I could think about was March: with its warmer temperatures and promises of spring.  Imagine my surprise when the Toronto weather forecast calls for well-below freezing temperatures during the first week of March.  Not one to be discouraged, I decided to bust out some of my favourite spring staples and incorporate them into a winter outfit. Old man  winter may have overstayed his welcome, but I'm not going to wait until his departure to have some fun with spring neutrals. Read on for additional photos and outfit details.

Faux Fur Jacket - Top Shop, Jean - Top Shop, T-Shirt - Club Monaco, Pumps - Banana Republic
Bag - Rebecca Minkoff, Sunglasses - Target

These neutral Kelsey Pumps from Banana Republic are one of my favourite spring items.  They're incredibly versatile, and require no thought to pair with any outfit (my type of item.) With Banana Republic's amazing flash sales (I got my pumps for 40% off) and a little luck, you can score these shoes for a great price.
I cannot get enough of this Rebecca Minkoff Mini Mac.  It's not only one of my most beloved warm weather purse, it's also a great piece to travel with - it's deceptively small size can actually house all of the essentials.  The adjustable chain handle can be worn both long and mid-length (perfect for all 5'2'' of me.)
There may be no sign of spring yet, but these neutral colours are enough to give me hope that there is a light at the end of this long, cold tunnel.
