White Willow Subscription Box Review

The way to my heart is very simple: presents. Yes, I'm one of those girls that has no shame obnoxiously squealing when unwrapping a big, beautiful gift that's all for me.  Never one to wait for someone else to shower me in gifts, I decided to take matters into my own hands and explore the world of subscription boxes.  The market for subscription boxes available for those of us who aren't  huge makeup people is slim, so I was thrilled to be introduced to White Willow Subscription Box.  The biggest factor that makes White Willow stand out to me is that this monthly subscription is lifestyle based instead of exclusively beauty, meaning that items range from fashion, beauty and home with one common theme throughout - pretty.

If you follow me on Snapchat (lapetitenoob) you would have seem my reaction when I first received my White Willow January Box in the mail.  Squeals of joy could be heard as I ripped into the box only to find the most lovely packaging inside. The little details are what makes an experience memorable, and the fact that my box was literally wrapped like a present certainly made an impression on me.

If the exterior packaging wasn't cute enough, inside revealed several individually wrapped gifts just waiting to be torn into. Fluffy confetti with tiny gold and white presents all for me? Yes please!

Once I was done feverishly tearing through the contents of my White Willow Subscription Box I could hardly believe my eyes. Each and every item was so different from the next, and the cohesiveness of the box is amazing - you could truly use each of the items for an indulgent night in. I also appreciated that the items were all from trusted brands, and certainly brands that I love and use in my everyday life. The January box included a sheet face mask from Sephora, some delicious tea from Davids Tea along with two adorable tea mugs, a gorgeous necklace from Banana Republic and one of Kate Spade's signature polka dot notebooks.

All in all, for those of us who are looking for a special surprise in our mailbox every month and crave the variety that a beauty box just can't offer then I highly suggest that you give White Willow Subscription Box a try.  The price is incredibly resonable at as low as $32 dollars a month, for well over $70 worth of merchandise.  Although White Willow Subscription Box is a Canadian-based company (yay), they do ship to the United States as well. The only caveat is that because these boxes are so popular the February box has already sold out, so be quick if you want to secure the March box!

What do you guys think?  Are you a present lover like me, and absolutely love the idea of a lifestyle monthly subscription box? Let me know!

    1. My thoughts exactly on previous subscription boxes Andréa - especially since they're all beauty based, and I'm not a huge experimenter with makeup. The lifestyle variety that White Willow offer is definitely the way to go! xo
